Nearly three years following the resurgence of the Taliban, the situation in Afghanistan continues to deteriorate, especially for Afghan women and girls who have lost the right to an education and are forbidden to participate as equal citizens in Afghan society. 

For Afghanistan to stand on its own feet, women and girls must be educated. They must be allowed to work and participate in public life, not hidden behind shrouded windows and locked doors.

Women in Afghanistan stress that the world should not stand idly by. They need the support and solidarity of the world community to survive.

Your donation of $50 or more will provide much needed assistance to Afghan women and girls who are trying to pursue an education through secret access to online classes. 

Your donation of $75 will help Afghan women and girls access online education and training, and you will receive a digital copy of the CD Not Forgotten: Songs for Afghanistan. 

Artists for Afghanistan Foundation distributes donated funds to vetted organizations and NGOs who are currently helping Afghan women and girls secretly access online learning courses and vocational training in Afghanistan and supporting those Afghan women and girls who have recently resettled in the United States.
